The plain-English version of how we work together.

These terms cover use of the soaringwebs.com website. Project and retainer engagements with Mitchell Knight trading as Soaringwebs (ABN 12 346 148 643) are governed by a separate written agreement signed by both parties.

The offer terms set out in the next four sections are the standard terms we work to. We publish them here so you can read them before you call. Your signed proposal is the binding document — where it differs from this summary, the proposal wins.

By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

If you engage us to run your marketing — ad management, SEO, or both — we build your website at no charge as part of getting you started. There is no separate build invoice while the marketing is running.

The build is free because the site is what your marketing points at. We would rather send your traffic somewhere that converts than bolt ads onto a page that loses the sale.

Once your ads have run for one full month, the website is yours to keep, free, whatever you decide next. You can stop the marketing at the end of that month, keep the site, and owe us nothing for the build.

If you stop before that first month of ads is complete, the build becomes payable at the price set out in your proposal. That is the only condition attached to the free build.

Either way you own what we made: the code, the design files, the domain and the hosting account. We do not hold a finished site hostage.

If you want the website and none of the marketing services, that starts at A$100 per month and includes unlimited edits — send the changes through and we make them, with no per-change fee and no hourly meter.

The build is included in that monthly figure. There is no separate one-off build fee, no deposit and no lock-in contract — you can stop any month.

The final monthly figure depends on the size and complexity of the site, and is fixed in writing in your proposal before any work begins.

The everything package is A$1,500 including GST. It includes up to 30 pages, your domain name for the first year, business email at that domain, a logo (three options, one refined), a brand kit, 30 social posts designed and written, Facebook and Instagram profile and cover images, Google Business Profile set-up, an enquiry form with an automatic reply, tap-to-call and tap-to-message buttons, a booking or quote request page, all the wording written for you, Google set-up (page titles, sitemap and Search Console), visitor tracking, a mobile-first build, hosting and SSL for the first 12 months, an email signature, a business card design, a review QR card, and 30 days of changes after launch.

The wording is written from what you tell us about your business. We do not invent reviews, awards, figures or claims for you.

Your domain name is free for the first year, up to A$20. If the name you want costs more than A$20 for the year, you pay the difference. The domain is registered in your business’s name, so it is yours.

You can pay A$1,500 up front, or A$125 a month for 12 months (also including GST). You can stop the monthly plan at any time. If you stop before the plan is paid off, the site is taken offline.

100% refund guarantee, no questions asked. If you are not happy, ask for your money back and we refund everything you have paid us for the package.

After the first 12 months, hosting, the domain and email renew. We email you the renewal invoice before it is due. If it is not paid when due, the site is taken offline. If it is still unpaid one month after the due date, the site stays offline.

These two offline rules apply to the everything package only. They do not change the free-build terms above that come with our marketing services.

The first two weeks of ad management are free on every platform we run — Google, Meta and the rest. We waive our management fee for those fourteen days. You still pay the advertising platform directly for the ad spend itself; that money buys your ads and never passes through us.

If those two weeks have not produced a sufficient return, we keep working at no management fee until your advertising reaches a 2× return on ad spend. Two times means every dollar spent on ads comes back as two dollars of tracked business: spend A$500 and the target is A$1,000 back.

What counts as a return is agreed in writing before the first ad goes live, because it differs by business — tracked online revenue for a shop, the value of booked jobs for a trade, the value of booked appointments for a clinic. We also need conversion tracking installed and access to the numbers, or neither of us can tell whether the target has been met.

To be clear about what this is and is not: we are committing our own time, not guaranteeing a result. Ad spend paid to Google or Meta is not refundable by us, and nobody honest can promise you a fixed number of leads or a position in Google. What we can promise is that we keep working on it, without charging management fees, until the advertising pays for itself twice over.

You may use this site for lawful purposes — to read about our services, request a quote, or book a call. You may not attempt to interfere with site security, scrape content for commercial reuse, or impersonate us.

We provide the site "as is" and reserve the right to update content at any time without notice.

Quotes provided through this site or by email are estimates based on the information you share. Final pricing is fixed in a signed proposal before any work begins.

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

All site content (text, design, code, illustrations) is owned by Mitchell Knight trading as Soaringwebs (ABN 12 346 148 643) unless otherwise stated. You may share links and short quotes with attribution.

When we deliver client projects, you (the client) own the final code, design, and copy on payment in full. That ownership is set out in the project agreement, not these site terms.

This site may link to third-party websites (e.g. Google, meetapoint.com, our clients). We are not responsible for content or practices on those sites.

Mitchell Knight trading as Soaringwebs (ABN 12 346 148 643) is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Brisbane.
